The Main Street Perryville Program appreciates the heritage of the entire community. From the Battle of Perryville to the cave that housed our town's original settlers, Main Street Perryville exists to protect and interpret our historic assets.  As such, we are dedicated to the preservation of Perryville’s architectural treasures and the interpretation of the varying threads of its historic fabric. 

Perryville stands out among our nation’s historic tourists sites for its unique combination of military and civilian history. To compliment efforts at the battlefield, the Main Street Perryville Program has turned its attention to the restoration of historic Merchants’ Row, one of the only surviving 19th-century mercantile districts in the nation, and other endangered structures in town. 

Merchants Row is a work in progress. We are currently working on the "Morning Glory Gallery" which was once Burton's Store.  We recently completed the restoration of Greens Drug Store.
